It's most likely the same bass because I bought it at the Tacoma GC.
When I was talking to Holland (the chick in the Guitar Dept), I was saying that there wasn't many new Ibanez basses coming out at NAMM, but they had the 8-string guitar come out. She then commented that a guy had already come in to put a down payment on one. I told her "Yep, I know the guy you're talking about!"
