Need help with serial number
Hey,guys so before Christmas I bought a usa jackson bass from a pawn shop.
It was kinda beat up,but still plays amazingly well however I dont really understand serial numbers.So wondering if you guys could help me determine the year of this thing.
Number is U 0 2 2 4 2 and its stamped into the end of the fretboard after the last fret if thats useful at all.

So mine was built around 1993 it looks like and the factory was ontario? Isn't that in Canada? How can it be a american bass if made in Canada?

It really is it has a few chips on the body and the headstock logo is basically chipped off and someone carved "Lunchbox" into it
Its amazing though i'll post pictures in the morning
