Rock, Funk bass on a budget?
As the title say, I'm looking for just that. A normal 4 string that is.
I play a lot of alternative rock and funk now a days and needs a good bass to cover those kind of grounds. Brand and such doesn't really matter as long as it's not a piece of s**t, so to speak :P So what do you think could be interesting for me? "I love being a guitarist! Look for a used P-Bass, there are plenty of good deals on MIM and MIJ ones out there and they're pretty much the founding bass of both Rock and Funk.
If you need an amp for it, take a look a GK. Used 400RB, 700RB, and even 800RB models are pretty plentiful. Throw them on top of a borrowed cab and they're good to go. Need help with setting up a trem? Need info on your Ibby? Live in Milwaukee? Please feel free to message me. New Rules. Read Them. |

In my preference, id take a j-bass over a p-bass. But i play finger style and prefer the skinnier neck.
