I really like his stuff on the Blues Saraceno albums. He has a really nice pop/funk attack.

I bought an album of his at a flea market about a month back (Funk Me Tender). I'd heard of this guy for years, mainly due to his articles in old Guitar for the Practicing Musician issues. It was pretty solid from what I recall. I should give it another spin.
