<span style="color:orange;font-weight:bold;">What was the writing process like for "Interloper"?</span>

I actually started this while messing around with my new RG3120, I think the first riff was a joke, haha. From that point I just left it alone and added some riffs every couple days, as was the process for most of the songs on the Delusions Of A Greater Future EP!

<span style="color:orange;font-weight:bold;">Did the song turn out as you'd envisioned it?</span>

Just about! Looking back I wish I'd gone a bit more technical with it, but you are your own worst critic eh?

<span style="color:orange;font-weight:bold;">What gear was used for the recording of "Interloper"?</span>

My Ibanez RG3120F with a Dimarzio Evo 2 running into my POD Studio UX2. Though I used the POD interface, I actually didn't use POD Farm for tone (other than for a noise gate and compressor), I was using the TSE-X30 (an amazing free amp sim) into podfarm (acting as a noise gate and compressor) into SIR2 (for impulses) to a post EQ.

The cabinet impulses are Recabinet by the way, which are fantastic and affordable!

The bass was an OLP MM5 into Podfarm and izotope ozone with a post EQ

The drums are Toontrack's Superior Drummer 2.0 with The Metal Foundry SDX. Programmed in Tabit and the piano roll in my DAW.

Any and all cleans are Podfarm.
