I guess this is the right forum...

So yeah... I wrote this. I kinda had a train of thought going, but I'm not sure everything connects well...

I'm open to anything you may think.

To sigh knowing the truth
or rejoice in false hope
often pondered
rarely answered

Let facts flow forth
ignorance has no place in me
truth is what I desire
truth is what I need

No more hiding the pain
don't be afraid to show you feel
let it show
let it be known

I see the wounds
I see the scars
let's fix them
healing for the hurt

This may hurt but-
no, it will
the truth hurts
hiding it hurts worse

One step at a time
what ails you
what is your demon
what plagues you

The sickness made manifest
show your symptoms
tell of your torturous traits
sedative to kill the pain

Numb
unaware
blissful
content

Life returns
as dos pain
worse from lingering
the cycle goes unbroken

Back to where we were
what's wrong
where does it hurt
what happens when I do this

We've found your cure-
no
too much
too hard

Maybe later
increase the dose
kill the pain
let me live

Taking over
thoughts dim
pain ceases

A sudden awakening
worse then before
let me heal you
we know your fix

It won't be easy
difficulties may arise
but you'll be better for it
if you want it...

Sounds alright to me, it's funny how theres always a way to link anything to anything so i wouldn't worry about that.

That's actually pretty good, Ozzy. It has a terrific flow and balance to it, almost like a story. Keeps you reading.

I'm not much for the "Pain" type of lyrical device (too much Korn in my young emotional diet ), but it works well in this case. Reminds me more of say... 'Comfortably Numb', than something Korn would do, and far more inventive.

I'm not usually a writer, but once in a while I come up with something on paper like this- the last thing I had done before it everything was written backwards on the wrong side of the paper.
