Hey man, with you being in Charlotte, I'd say that's the most likely area the gear would end up, if it finds it's way into a pawn shop. I work in Winston-Salem and will keep an eye out for the missing items up here in the triad. This area rarely has any 7 string guitars at all, so that axe should stand out if it's on display. But I fear the odds would be better at spotting the stuff on ebay. I'd set up some favorite searches on there, in an effort to catch 'em if they get listed.
