| I doubt anyone will back me up on this, but have you considered a Madison Divinity? The new Divinity III is roughly a grand I think, and it's a true 3 channel amp unlike the one I had. Mine worked great (no reliability issues), sounded really crunchy (no boost neccesary) and had lots of clarity. Solo tones were dynamic, warm and full. It's also got a very nice clean channel. If you want to hear what it sounds like I'd check out the band Aghora, they have a few songs on their myspace, and the tone on that is pretty close to what you'd be hearing. |
