OH HAI! I missed this thread. Yes Jonathan is uber-cool, my lefty-7 is a Feline and he recently spruced up my RG1570 and it plays like a dream now. Most of his work is more 'classic rock' axes, but that's due more to demand than preference. If you want a 7-string metal shred beast, he can do it.
Also the prices are only steep because you're American (yes that old chestnut again!) They're pretty reasonable for me, and since you can pay in instalments whenever you like it works out pretty good.
