Whoops, you are correct. I was reading on the NOVA Delay page about how some of its features were "built upon the legacy and knowledge" of the 2290, but it doesn't actually say that the effects themselves are directly from the 2290. I need to slow down and read sometimes, instead of skimming.

I will say, however, that based on my first-hand experience, the NOVA Delay sounds fucking awesome.
