well, the new Boss DD-7 totally snuck up on me, never even knew one was in the works

. i don't recall any mention of it on this site either...
anyway, this thing looks seriously badass.
Expanded delay time, up to 6.4 seconds
Modulation Delay mode offers natural, chorus-type sounds
Analog Delay mode models the classic warm BOSS DM-2 analog delay sound
Tap tempo controllable via external footswitch
Delay time, feedback, and effect level can be controlled via external Expression pedal (sold separately)
Up to 40 seconds of recording for sound on sound (Hold mode)
feature wise, it buries my antiquated DD-5. i think i'm sold on one of these when they become available. this pedal could realistically do the job of three different pedals for me, my regular digital delay, an analog delay, and a looper (40 seconds!).
the DD-6 didn't give me a reason to want to upgrade my DD-5, and i really didn't like the built-in tap tempo. i much prefer the external tap tempo of the DD-5 and this feature is brought back with the DD-7

. the reverse delay sounds way improved over the useless DD-5 one.
thoughts?
