I've said it before, but I reckon the States get shortsticked compared to asia for Ibbies. Really popular here, and that's cuz they're reasonably cheaper. For example, the RGT6EXFX. 700 over here, 850 over there. @_@

As for basswood yeah, there's like american basswood or something. Ibanez advertised one of the later JEMs or JSes as "american basswood".
