I dunno about the Evo anymore personally. I liked how it sounded playing at home. When I got to band practice and tried it at my rehearsal space with the band. Ouch......... To much bitting mids and highs. Yeah its clear and all but it is extreemly hot and does not take to boosts well. I am playing through a Framus Cobra........... The Evo has no warmth. It sounds real thin to me. Single notes have no wieght. I like to have a ballsy tone and tight low end but I don't think the Evo goes well with a clear High gain amp.
