My point exactly. I believe the original context was that Horowitz was ranting in a mid-80s interview about how didn't care for certain composers, and he singled out Beethoven, claiming he couldn't compose. Pogorelich came out in response saying "That's ok, I don't think Beethoven cares about Horowitz, either." "Twas in an old Keyboards article, 87-ish or so... no one needs to subscribe to anyone's views, all that matters is personal enjoyment.
