I hate the elitist shit in metal. The 'you're not metal if you don't have long hair, smell of beer, think the first slayer album is the only slayer album and think anything in the past 20 years isn't worth listening too unless it's an incredibly boring doom metal band' attitude. Music is music. I don't like alot of music but if I think a band is great then i'll listen to it regardless of genre (but I draw the line at most chart music, that shit bores me and holds no substance).
