Here's my situation: I've got a UV (Blaze's) and a DC727 (stock pups). I want to replace pups in the Carvin. I've heard claim that the Blaze's actually work nicely in the DC727 (all mahogany/maple cap). My main complaint about the Blaze's in the UV is the scooped midrange sound. I really like a thick tone.

Anyway, my options are either:

- buy EVO's for the UV and transplant the Blaze's into the Carvin
- put the EVO's in the Carvin and leave the Blazes in the UV
- buy something else entirely for the Carvin and deal with the UV later

Thoughts?
