Wanted to hear clips of people playing using their neck pickup and what kind of sounds they use them for. I realized that i pretty much only use the neck pickup (humbuckers here) on any of my electrics to get a fat, saturated lead tone with lots of gain (
) as that's my favorite lead sound. But i never really find myself using the neck pickup for much of anything else unless its coil tapped or parallel as i always find it too muddy (regardless of pickup or guitar) in the lower register.
Lemme hear what kinda tones you use your neck pickup for if you have clips. I'd be very interested. I'm thinking its maybe just me
