Michael Sherman ran Washburn's USA custom shop in the 90s, made most of Dimebag's personal guitars, etc. He also worked for Hamer amongst others. He is the MAN and can do anything flawlessly.
I don't really need to get people to switch to 7s, the majority of his business is 7 and 8 string guitars, and some basses, no need to sway from that. But if someone wants 6-strings, he certainly can build something amazing.
