Thanks guys. What do any of you think about the ENGL e530 rack preamp with a cheaper poweramp? The e530 is $510 brand new and I've seen some cheap poweramps, but, I don't know how the poweramps effect the tone since I really don't know much about the whole setup. Would you have to go into a cab or could you plug that setup into a p.a. system? |
Yeah, the Bugeras are all tube. I may be trying them out tomorrow if I'm out at Peeler and they got em', I'll tell you what I think of em'.
That would be a pretty good solution too, if you can find one used somehow I would say grab that and maybe a cheap Peavy tube poweramp, check the 'bay!
