Now if you want Exotic woods and custom inlays, they will get expensive but you pay for what you get. To get a better estimate, go to Drumcity GuitarLand and get a quote with one in standard options, paint woods etc. and then get a quote with the exotic woods etc, you will see a big difference in the price. Also, getting a quote directly from Schecter is getting the LIST price, not the price a music store is likely to give.
Stitch, The necks from the custom shop are NICE, the profile is similar to the Ibanez, just a hair thicker with a C shape to it (not flat). My 007 is a 26.5" neck scale so it is a little thicker than the 25.5" scale guitars I have but not much and it is not as thick as the Diamond series at all. It also has a C shape to it. | See, taht sounds like its for me. I hate the new Ibby profile (I've yet to like a profile post-1999), and i like the fact the the RG7420 neck is slightly rounded |
