I wouldn't buy it, but if it had the stainless steel frets, I would consider it. Also a Floyd and lock nut would go a ways to convince me as well. I could use it for a hard tail if the frets were what I'd want out of a Carvin. The pictures probably don't do it justice, it probably looks a lot better in person, plus, if it's just been tung oiled, you could always refinish it easily enough.
