agreed. i'd point her to a jackson though, the extra light soloist or rhoads are lighter and very shreddable with great fret access. even a gibson V with the shorter scale might work.
however, the idea that there are no "real" guitars for girls is pretty...degrading i suppose. i'm pretty sure there are more girls on the planet than guys who play sevenstrings...for now. how many of them play guitar, i dunno. but how many sevenstring players were there before there were sevenstrings? not many i'd imagine. a smaller, lighter and hell even prettier guitar meant for that large of a population makes more sense than a guitar with another string.
