Which amp has the most brutal sounding distortion? I'm talking you plug in and you've got Suffocation, Hate Eternal, etc. at your fingertips? Here's what I can say from what I've owned and played, in order from most brutalicious:

Mesa Triple Rec
Mesa Mark IV
Marshall JCM 2000
VHT Pittbull
5150 II
JCM 800

I'd also add that a John Petrucci 7 string guitar sounds like a homeless guy's balls taste through every last one of them. It plays awesome but after 3 pickup changes that whimp had to go.
