from what I remember pretty good. I have both the combo(non-modded) and the head running into a 1x12" "bass" cab..which produces a good amount of low end.
My H-207 with Evos sounds good with both. I have the combo on an amp stand next to my recliner and tend to plug straight into that and I really like the tones I get out of it. The head and cab sound good as well, but that is across the room and I don't always play it. I have been playing my Carvin CT4m through it the last couple of days and I'm still happy with it.

I have used a dan-o fish and chips eq to help keep from getting too muddy, and I do recommend an eq or something to help shape it a little more.

Both of them I hardy turn up a quarter of the way, they are too loud for my apartment, but they do sound good cranked.

I'm tempted to get one of the Grendel Sound Dead Room Cabs for the head and use that for recording and playing at church instead of my current rack setup.

ok that was a good amount of rambling. IMHO they are great practice/apartment amps.
