I couldn't get it to work on mine but EdRoz seems to have gotten it to work.
I actually still ahve the OFR trem posts and the locking nut on my DC727, I just put the
licensed trem back on. On mine I found the string spacing was wider than the licensed trem so my high E and Low B were right on the edge of the fretboard.
No good for me, I don't have a baby light touch so I was constantly pulling the strings off of the edge of the fret board.
I think my tech ground down the "hook" on the bar side of the trem so he wouldn't have to route out the floyd route on mine.
I was bummed for sure, the OFR felt quite a bit smoother and my guitar actually sounded better with it in there, but I just couldn't get it to work. The shims were also a factor , the guitar had a different feel to it with the ORF than the Licensed one.
here's what mine looked like.

here's the trem that was on mine

The trem I had didn't "hook" around either post.
I'm beggining to think I recieved a copy that was labeled OFR, because it looks different from the Floyd on my Loomis.

Can I be the devil on your shoulder?
