First off I just want to say that I have been lurking around the forums for about a week now and I am really glad I found this site, you guys are great, such an awesome resource!
Names Steve, been playing guitar now for about 3 years on an old peavey patriot that I got for my 10
th birthday from my uncles pawnshop and a roland vga7 amp. This guitar has been a champ, it sure has seen some use not to mention 10 years of darkness locked away in my closet
!. Anyway I just got my first new guitar and I decided to make it a 7 string. I got an ESP SC 607b , and man I have really been pleased, what a great guitar. It was a long search and over the years I have looked at getting a lot of different guitars, but this one just feels great. I’m a big guy with big hands and I also have an old yamaha classical acoustic with a fat neck so the transition from 6 to 7 strings has been a very comfortable one
I’m a big fan of all music, (I also play the cello) but I’m really excited about getting in to more metal
been listening to a lot of Devin Townsend lately (hes awesome)
