Yeah, i mean I do like their previous releases, but there were alot of bands coming up in that scene and style at the same time that things didn't really stand out to me (amongst stuff like From Autumn to Ashes etc. against Opposite of December etc.), "generic" was probably a bit too harsh, as when they started doing their thing it was quite fresh at that time.

Versions was probably too much of a departure, rather than a step in the right direction maybe.
