why would you bypass the preamp of the dragon??
The whole point of expensive amps is the awesome sounding preamps lol. except marshalls. all the tone there is in the powersection
but were talking the dragon. it loses all of its dragon sound if you bypass the pre.
The prorack G is actually 2 noise suppressors, one for before the preamp, and one for the fx loop. if you mod it to be serial, then youre set. And just get a good wah, and if you want a good eq, get a good graphic eq from EHX, and run that in your fx loop. way better than preprocessing with the 2101 IMO.
clearly, at least try the 2101 if you have it, but id be willing to put my word on it that youd prefer the results of my/noodles suggestions
