I would worry about some idiot who doesnt know what hes doing having one.
I'll disagree dave, in that dogs that are severely abused typically show effects for the rest of their lives, but ill agree in that euthanasia is not the way to go.
As i said, someone who doesnt know what they're doing should not have one of these dogs. but anybody who is good with dogs, especially someone who knows their way around large/agressive breeds should be just fine.
Take that brindle dog in my 7620 picstory. One of the most aggressively controlled breeds around with good reason. Most likely way more dangerous than a fought pitbull. If you dont have experience with aggressive dogs, in most countries, you legally cant own one. They are required to be tattood and microchipped. its wild. the german special forces use them without any training, as its all instinctual. should most people own one? hell no, thats asking for disaster. But anybody with a strong prescense who is good with large dogs should be totally fine, if they have a clue what they are doing
I could never put a dog down because it was mentally ....ed up. A good dog is more loving and loyal than most people i've ever met
