I get your "dont fix it if it aint broke" approach But you have to remove the neck because the router base wont be able to move freely, nor do you want to take the chance of slipping and damaging the neck/fretboard.

cool man, i'm glad you're happy with it . from the pic you posted, it looked like the blackout was abnormaly high. i'll be the first to admit, i have alot to learn about setting up bolt-on guitars, hence why i may have been a little argumentative . i have much more experience with neck thrus/ set necks. you, Drew and Noodles have taught me a few things
