Yeah, I'm only a junior in High School, so it's something that would get me really involved in the design aspect of everything, and might help me get a completely original tone (I would think hand building a guitar would give you more freedom in how it plays).

And yeah, I'd be slowly customizing a GRX until I get a completely different guitar (like EVH's $150-something dollar hand built, but I don't have the patience to hand wind pickups and stuff)

Current Acoustic: Fender Stratacoustic (I love that guitar) Latest Guitar: Frankenfretless hand assembled custom
