| i hold Tool in a pretty high regard. I'm not really into them, but i have a lot of respect for a group that can breed such an intense cult following. Especially because i don't get it.. Like i can't easily pin down what it is that people are obsessed with.. It's cool
But honestly, other than Schism, i find Lateralus really boring - the intro to Ticks and Leeches is cool but that's pretty much the highlight of it for me. 10,000 Days is solid as an album, but i don't find myself actually WANTING to listen to it.
Never listened to a Perfect Circle. From what i remember, aren't they a slightly more pop-friendly incarnation of Tool? Like simpler song structures and more melodies? What album should i look into?
