That said, I'd really commend the Mesa Black Shadows (aka C90s) if you are looking for high power handling and thunderous bass response. If you like a middier, tighter sound, the VHT P50E speakers might be for you (made by Eminence I believe). There's a ton of models I've never tried, all I can say is I love those speakers considerably more than the Celestion V30s, whatever they use in Marshall 1960 cabinets, Sheffields, etc.
aha, awesome. for a bit there i was freaking myself out thinking i woudn't be able to make my seven sound good due to lack of decent speakers, haha (i'm a bit obsessive compulsive, yeah).

as for the tone i'm after, you know i'm not really sure, it changes all the itme, haha. i realy dig jeff loomis of neveromore's tone on the album, 'dead heart in a dead world' so i guess i dig a middy tone. but i also love to have a thrashy, djenty, kinda children-of-bodom-only-better kind of tone.

i guess i just have to get down to some stores and play it all, haha.

i was looking at vaders, but the artists page kinda scares me, ahahah. also i've heard alot about them having a monstrous bass responce, and i love to have a big bottom end, but i hate it when stuff gets boomy and muddy.

yeah, i've heard that too. but stuff still sounds alot different when in the bedroom as opposed to in the mix with a band, haha.
