I used the 3rd (or red) channel in modern mode like this (for metal rhythm)
Highs - 9-10 o'clockish
mids - 2-3 o'clockish
Bass - 9 o'clockish (this should be about right)
Gain - 12-1 o'clockish (depending on the guitar and pickups)
Some pups will yield more gain than others, that's why my gain varied. The ish after each one was because it depends on how hard you pick. you might need less mids or highs because you might pick harder than I do |
