Alright noodles, here you go. I will post lots of pics of some of my projects here. I hope you all enjoy.

I'll start with my first two guitars. They are both sevens. The first (blonde) is 26" scale neck thru maple with ash wings. I started building it around the time Ibanez resumed building the Universe. I had been working as a repair tech at a local shop for a couple of years at this point. I worked along side three luthiers at the time and so I was fortunate enough to have all the help I needed. Even still it took me a year and a half to complete (I was still in school at the time).

The second guitar is actually currently for sale.

It was built for one of the luthiers at the shop I was working at. He had spent so much time helping me that I wanted to thank him somehow. He eventually had to part with it and the gentleman who bought it from him is selling it now through me. His only gripe is the seventh string. Once his guitar is sold I will build him a six.

It is made of several pieces of wood: walnut, maple, purpleheart, oak, wenge, and cocobolo. It also has a 28.5" scale.

Both guitars use DiMarzio Blaze pickups since that was all that was available at the time. I scalloped the board on the neck-thru guitar after owning it for several months. I need to build myself another scalloped seven. After owning this guitar though I realized that I wasn't too crazy about the tone of neck-thru guitars. There is a punch that you get with a bolt-on neck that is otherwise lost. I love the feel on a neck-thru, but tone comes first. That is why many of the guitars that I build have bolt-on necks. This is not cheaping out. For those of you who have heard otherwise, it is quite possible to build a bolt-on guitar with as much sustain and tone as a set neck or neck-thru. Trust me. I will post more pics when I have time. Right now I'm actually refretting an Epi Dot so I will get back to work. Enjoy!

Oh yeah, I still build everything by hand too.
