um, are your saddles locked down tight?
they should be as tight as you can get them without exerting any real effort. just a good turn of the wrist should do it. be really careful not to tighten them too much though, or you can strip them out and thats all bad.
other thing in question.
your zeropoint unit in the back, is that touching the baseplate of the trem? make sure it would be about 2 or 3 mm further than it is if the block werent there. if its just barely touching the baseplate, the plate could be vibrating against it when your hit a note, which would then reverberate back into the string and get picked up by the pickups
and yes i know that is really nonsensical sounding. i just got off work. if anybody else gets what i mean, please be so kind as to rephrase lol.
otherwise ill try again in a bit
[edit] lets try again
your saddles could be loose.
loosen em up (without moving them)
and get them snug, then give a wrench maybe... 1/4 of a turn?
just to get it tight. dont tighten it too much or you'll strip the bolt thought
the other issue, is the zeropoint bar in the back. make sure its pressed firmly against the toneblock fo the bridge. if its just barely touching, they could be vibrating against one another when you play
wait.
goddamnit it. how did i not think to ask...
are the strings just buzzing? like up against the frets?
