another vote for X pattern speakers, great way to make your amp sound huge and a little more 3d.
I use Man O Wars and Swamp Thangs in my cab and love it. Thick bass, aggressive mids, and smooth highs. However every piece of the rig is important for really great tone, right down to the cables you use.
