i think he means the body blank was one piece of wood--you can actually see that in the grain pattern; there's no seam where the rear strap button goes. i've never heard of a neck-through that was one piece of wood for the body and neck--it's hard to get the grain right for that, and it generates lots of waste. if he did do that, i hope he cut other things out of the cut-off wood.
