i have that combo in my homemade S7, which is african mahogany, but i modded the Custom with an Alnico V magnet. it sounds awesome--thick chewy midrange that has tons of depth and character. makes my other guitars sound thin and bland by comparison. i heartily endorse Jazz+Custom, especially if you can score an A5 magnet.
