Okay, since the tech I used to use wouldn't install the BKP's, "because they don't fit," I've decided to do it myself. I've already got the BKP's in the 1527 (they fit fine, by the way), so now I just need some help with wiring them.
I'm going to wire them the same way as the stock pups were (but with only a volume control), and I need to know which wires are which compared to the stock V7 pups. I tried google but that didn't turn up anything helpful.
Here's a pic of the original wiring if it helps at all. The gray wire is the bridge pickup and the brown is the neck.
Both BKP's have 5 wires, but the V7 bridge only has three (the neck also has 5). Do I just solder the matching wires on the BKP's to where the ones from the stock pups were and just ignore the others, or is it more complicated? I've never done any proper wiring (i did install an EMG, but that was a bit simpler).
Here's what I found on the BKP site:

What is the Bare Knuckle Four conductor colour code?
Black =start of screw coil
White = finish of screw coil
Red = start of slug coil
Green = finish of slug coil

Any help is much appreciated! I want to get everything figured out before I start soldering, so I (hopefully) won't screw up too much.
