Yeah, I really don't care. I just thought it was hilarious that someone was so insecure as to give me a neg rep for my taste in music, and to do it without owning up to it. When I rep someone, I include my name.
I think the cover's a cool different take on a song that I think is pretty good. When I first heard the song it got stuck in my head constantly and kept thinking someone should cover it (same goes for a lot of pop songs).
I don't give a shit about genres, I judge music on a song by song basis. Either I like it, or I don't, and I don't care what it's associated with or what it means socially or whatever.
