"Shoulda bought a Blackjack" is not a question but rather a statement.
I'm just saying, it wasn't a helpful comment. Maybe he really wanted the quilted maple top or USED to like the EMGs and just doesn't anymore. A better question would have been something along the lines of "why did you buy the hellraiser over the blackjack, did you like the active pickups previously but have since changed your mind about them?" but that's just me.
