There's no way you could have grounded the pickups otherwise? I know my of 007 Blackjack didnt have any external wires, but i forgot exactly they mounted the ground to.
Other than that little wire, it looks awesome, though. the ebony dyed pickup rings are great looking. A kill switch would look good in that empty pot spot, too \m/
