It should be like that... I'm thinking... I don't have windows media player installed so I can't slow it down 1/2 way, but theres a start. If you know Rusty Cooley's - The Duel, theres a lick like this in the opening starting at 18 and 15, 19 and 15.
AND, it adds up to 3 perfect measures at 16th notes, which is usually how paul gilbert constructs his melodies. Most are 2, or 4, but he's usually 3.
