What Drew said. What your friend is doing violates the terms of the dealership contract. I would not be advertising this if I were you.

The Triple is not as simple as a "glass tax". It responds completely differently, and has a slightly different drive circuitry. The low end response is much greater, covering the full range of the Dual's bass knob by about 12 o'clock. Palm muted rhythms sound much tighter, and individual string definition is retained at higher gain and volume settings. There is no amp on the planet that does metal rhythm as effectively as the Triple.
