Congrats on the amp.
The longer you own it the better it will sound, I think the power transformers in new tube amps have a break in period. I have had mine for a year now, and it keeps sound better and better. Don't forget to put a Tung sol in V1.
I have never seen a recto without the aluminum bar to guard the tubes, yours has a metal mesh.
