| I think the issue is the type of people who decide to be politicians and the nature of the job. In order to get ahead in that field, you have to swallow a lot of your pride and integrity in order to gain favor. I know it's a grim assessment of politicians but it's the price they have to pay in order to find themselves in the position to make a difference (ironically it keeps them to timid to capitalize on that opportunity). |
