Sounds like it would work great for you, then.
I actually use the neck pickup ONLY (AN7, of course) for all the rhythm on one of my band's songs. Just wanted that different feel. The AN7 stays tight and focused the whole time, with uber gain. It sounds
different from the bridge, mind you, but it doesn't sound
bad.
