I'm mixed on Ovations. My old singer in my college band had one he played, and I've picked them up in guitar shops on and off for years.

On one hand, they're very robust sounding, with almost shockingly agressive bass. They sound way bigger than they are. On the other, you absolutely cannot play them sitting down. With a strap they're fine, but seated...
