I hear ya, it's new feel for sure. I've been playing it for a couple weeks now and it certainly has a style associated with it. I use my Fender acoustic for the "unplugged" stuff, but when I need to amp-up, the Ovation just sounds soo nice.
The mids are sharp and the highs are crisp. I'm still thrilled I got it.
